I want the dragon to stay a pet forever and never eat you connected to the stuff you put in except the egg guardians. I die from regular enderman you want me to fight multiple that spawn in on me when I defeat one of them!?
How about the ender dragon leaves 12 end portal frames and 12 eyes of ender, so you never have to go back to that stronghold again. You would also get a tool to remove your frames, in case you want to move your portal, but all of this would only work the first time the dragon is killed.
